Job summary

Intel in the United States (US, Arizona, Phoenix) seeks an experienced Thin Films Module Engineer to own 300mm toolsets and drive machine-level process development within OTF. You will manage reliability, yield, and safety while delivering excursion-free performance and rapid improvement roadmaps.

The role requires strong instrumentation passion, capability in tool installation, qualification, and working across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience or Master’s with 2+ years or PhD with 6+ months in relevant field.
  • 2+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or advanced technology development.
  • Experience with process characterization, data analysis, and statistical problem-solving in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Define roadmaps to meet requirements, goals and milestones for a new technology process.
  • Define flow, procedures, and equipment configuration for the module.
  • Plan and conduct experiments to characterize the process throughout development.
  • Drive improvements on quality, yield, reliability, and safety.
  • Lead tool availability and matching performance across the module.
  • Transfer processes to high-volume manufacturing and support new factory start-up.
