Job summary

Intel Corporation in the United States (Arizona, Phoenix) seeks an experienced OTF Module Engineer to own and optimize 300mm toolsets in a high-volume fabrication environment.

The role emphasizes defining roadmaps, configuring module flow and equipment, and driving experiments to improve quality, yield, and safety. It requires collaboration across process engineering, integration and yield teams and may include shift flexibility to support toolset needs.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Clean room experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Litho functional area.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer orientation.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and experimental design; apply to tool matching, qualification, and process development.
  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries including process engineering, integration and yield.
  • Good communication skills with high tolerance to ambiguous and changing situations.

Responsibilities

  • Define roadmaps to meet requirements, goals and milestones for a new technology process.
  • Define flow, procedures, and equipment configuration for the module.
  • Select and develop material and equipment to meet quality, yield, reliability, cost and manufacturability requirements.
  • Plan and conduct experiments to characterize the process throughout development.
  • Drive improvements on quality, yield, reliability, process stability/capability, productivity and safety/ergonomic factors.
  • Develop solutions using formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.
  • Establish process control systems for the module and sustain through volume ramp.
  • Train production/receiving process engineers for transfer to other factories.
  • Transfer process to high-volume manufacturing and support in new factory start-up and line qualification.
  • Role may require working day or night shift as an OSE to support toolset needs.
