Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, plastics, industrial, or chemical engineering.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Experience with film processing and extrusion is required.
• Web handling experience in films, paper, or converting.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
• Willingness to learn statistical data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Document and manage standard work instructions.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans.
• Resolve film quality concerns on customer programs.
• Lead improvements for thin film extrusion lines.
• Train extrusion technicians on daily operations.
• Apply statistical tools to solve problems.
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Ensure EH&S compliance on extrusion operations.
• Install and commission nanolayer coextrusion line.
