Job Information

Position: Thin Films Production Specialist

Location: Goleta, California (US-CA-GOLETA-B02 ~ 75 Coromar Dr ~ BLDG B02)

Work Type: Onsite, 1st Shift (start time negotiable)

Security Clearance: DoD Secret clearance required (must be active and maintained after day 1)

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning of optics and maintenance of chambers
  • Source preparation and deposition of coatings in chambers
  • Photolithography, measurements, defect mapping, and packaging
  • Critical metrology such as spectral evaluation, metal thickness, and wafer flatness
  • Cross‑functional communication and teamwork to track WIP, move production, and address production issues in a timely manner
  • Update documentation, create reports, and log data as needed
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years combined or related photolithography or optical deposition experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance; U.S. citizenship required
  • Experience with deposition or photolithography equipment, with knowledge of ESD, safety, and security protocols
  • Experience in Excel and production tracking systems
  • Ability to work safely with deposition processing equipment, chemicals, and raw production materials in a lab setting with basic gowning requirements
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and rigorous attention to detail
  • Understanding of FOD and FOD reduction methods and concerns
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Troubleshooting experience
Benefits and Compensation

Hourly rate: $32.00 to $37.00. Your pay may vary based on experience, role, and responsibilities.
