Job summary

Polar Semiconductor, LLC in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Process Engineer to own and optimize thin-film processes. You will sustain equipment performance, drive process improvements, and transfer new processes to production while supporting tool startups and documentation.

Required knowledge includes PVD, CVD, ALD, or RTA and a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields. Strong SPC and analytical skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering or physics field.
• Knowledge of PVD, CVD, ALD or RTA.
• Experience in process optimization and SPC.
• Ability to transfer new processes to production.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and improve equipment and process metrics.
• Develop and transfer new processes into production.
• Set up new tool start-ups and maintain documentation.
• Analyze process failure modes and implement changes.
