Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in one or more Thin Film processes: Metal Deposition, Sputtering, Laser Drilling, Photolithography, Plating, and Wet Chemical Etching.
• Experience with automated equipment used in manufacturing.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and production support for thin film processes including PVD deposition, laser drilling, photolithography, plating, and etching.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and process development from a materials perspective.
• Support process improvements using SPC techniques and DOE designs.
• Develop and execute new product builds with automated equipment and write shop process documentation.
• Participate in capital equipment down-selection and integration to meet business needs.
• Communicate technical information across cross-functional teams.
