dpiX, LLC, the leader in amorphous silicon X-ray sensor manufacturing and technology, is looking for a proactive, innovative and energetic contributor to join our team. The CVD engineer candidate will possess the following:
- Industry experience in flat panel display or flexible display (including OLED) or semiconductor.
- Ability to monitor and maintain tight SPC control charts of critical dimensions and alignment.
- A degree in engineering (B.A.Sc or higher preferred) with at least five years of CVD/PVD process engineering.
- Capability to lead cross‑functional projects and process integration projects with other engineers to improve the process and end‑of‑line product yield.
- Capability to be proactive in responses against rework root causes, diagnosis, plan, implementation, monitor, and prevention.
Major Responsibilities
- Tool characterization, gauge studies, improvement of Cp/Cpk.
- OCAPs for process parameters trend chart violations and return‑to‑production qualification failures.
- Creating deposition processes as allowed by quality/reliability constraints.
- Continuously improving the quality of the deposition processes and going after the root causes.
- Recipe development, monitoring, and documentation, troubleshooting problem lots.
- New tool acceptance testing and process qualifications.
- Qualification procedures, tool cleaning and return‑to‑production from PM or repair.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
BS in engineering, physics, or material science; MS or PhD. Working knowledge of thin‑film deposition processes, or dry etch process. Minimum 5 years of experience in thin‑film deposition processes. Extensive knowledge of device physics, CVD, and PVD processes. Good analytical and communication skills.
