Job summary

Texas Instruments Incorporated in Sherman, TX is seeking an Entry Level Equipment Technician to join our team. You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installation of equipment, interfacing with engineering and manufacturing to resolve issues.

Responsibilities include improving system performance to meet process requirements, monitoring data to maintain tool performance, coordinating supplier service, and preparing technical reports with findings and recommended

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to work a 12 hour compressed work schedule.
Flexible to work day or night shift including one weekend shift and holidays.
Choose one: Technical Certificate or Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Automated Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Industrial Systems and Controls, Electromechanical Technology, or 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Improve system performance to meet process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs.
Monitor and analyze data to improve tool performance and address tool-related issues.
Coordinate supplier service and repairs as needed.
Prepare technical reports and summarize findings with recommended solutions.
