Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking a quality leader to own QC standards in a fast-paced production setting. You will direct a team of QC Technicians, manage hiring, performance, and scheduling, while staying hands-on with daily and weekly product testing.

Maintain specifications and formulas in the ERP system, interface with production on batch issues, and deliver clear QC status reports. When technicians are out, you step in; safety is non-negotiable, with PPE and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials/Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• QC experience with silicone, polyurethane, and natural rubber latex.
• Experience in a leadership role.
• Proven problem-solving skills with two-part system formulations.
• Hands-on mixing and bench testing of two-part cure systems.

Responsibilities

• Own quality across a fast-moving production environment; lead the QC team.
• Direct hiring, performance, and scheduling; stay hands-on with daily testing.
• Maintain specifications and formulas in the ERP system; interface with production on batch issues.
• Deliver clear QC status reports and step in when technicians are out; uphold safety as non-negotiable.
