Job summary

Magna Engineered Glass is expanding our second and third shift team with seasoned Process Technicians who improve cycle times, reduce downtime, and elevate quality through disciplined process control.

You will start/stop molding machines, troubleshoot processes, document changes, and support environment, health, and safety standards across shifts. Immediate openings on 2nd and 3rd shift.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with injection molding processes.
  • RJG molding knowledge preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

  • Start up and shut down plastic injection molding machines; verify production‑readiness.
  • Troubleshoot and refine molding processes for yields and stability.
  • Reduce delays due to die/mold changes and setups.
  • Document process tweaks with precision; develop process sheets for new programs.
  • Configure and optimize end‑of‑arm tooling to enhance throughput and quality.
  • Handle hazardous waste safely and support maintenance.
  • Engage in CI and problem‑solving across shifts.
  • Act as an authorized spill response team member.
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental standards.

Join our mission to build better, fasterMagna Engineered Glass is expanding our second and third shift team with seasoned Process Technicians who love shaving seconds off cycle times, cutting downtime from setups and changeovers, and elevating product quality through disciplined process control.What you will doStart up and shut down plastic injection molding machines; verify auxiliaries (water systems, material feeds, heaters, robots) are production‑ready.Troubleshoot and refine molding processes for existing and new parts to improve yields and stability.Reduce delays tied to die/mold changes and process setups.Respond rapidly to production concerns and resolve issues at the source.Document every process tweak and adjustment with precision.Develop and update process sheets and parameters for new program introductions.Configure, debug, and optimize end‑of‑arm tooling to enhance throughput and quality.Handle hazardous waste in a safe, compliant manner.Support cleaning and preventive maintenance that protect uptime.Engage in CI and problem‑solving initiatives across shifts.Act as an authorized member of the facility spill response team.Follow all health, safety, and environmental standards.What you bring by levelLevel 13–5 years in a technical manufacturing role.Hands‑on ability to troubleshoot and update equipment/systems in your area.Clear, professional communication in English.Level 21–2+ years at Level 1 or a comparable mix of education and experience.Demonstrated injection molding proficiency; RJG systematic molding experience preferred.Strong written/verbal communication and collaboration.Works independently and within teams with consistent professionalism.Level 33–5+ years at Level 2 or equivalent background.Proficiency with ABB Level 1 Robot training.Excellent teamwork and professional presence.Advanced problem solving and project management.Self‑directed with minimal supervision.Advanced molding capability; RJG Advanced Edart and Master Molder 1 preferred.Proficiencies that set you up for successMechanical troubleshootingInjection molding experienceTool/die/mold setup experienceShifts available nowImmediate openings on second and third shift.
