Job summary

STERIS is seeking a molding technician to operate world‑class injection molding machines and support Lean manufacturing in a medical device setting. You will verify machine parameters before start‑ups and at intervals, perform start‑up/shut‑down, record data electronically, and conduct in‑process quality verifications to meet ISO 13485 and FDA expectations.

You will also handle packaging tasks, labeling finished goods, cycle counting, and use measurement gauges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic understanding of injection molding machines and peripherals.
• Ability to read work instructions and safety documents in English.
• Quality‑driven with attention to part and equipment variation.

Responsibilities

• Verify machine parameters before startup and at intervals.
• Execute start‑up, restart, shut‑down and cleaning procedures.
• Monitor processes to keep output on track and troubleshoot issues.
• Record data electronically and communicate handoffs across shifts.
• Perform in‑process quality verifications and inspections.
