Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks an experienced Thermography Instructor to deliver advanced certification programs through the Infrared Training Center, across classroom, onsite, and virtual formats. Responsible for approximately 30–33 courses annually and contributing to curriculum development and practical guidance.

The ideal candidate has extensive field experience, strong instructional skills, and the ability to translate complex thermography concepts into clear, actionable insights

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied science, or related field.
• Hands-on infrared inspections and condition assessments experience.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices and PPE requirements.
• Experience around energized equipment in industrial environments; safety focused.
• Strong understanding of infrared imaging and heat transfer principles.
• Familiarity with PdM technologies and RCM methodologies.
• Knowledge of ISO 18436-7, ISO 9712, ASNT SNT-TC-1A, ASNT CP-105.

Responsibilities

• Deliver thermography certification and application training in line with course materials, standards, and internal QA.
• Teach approximately 33–35 instructor‑led courses annually across classroom, onsite, and virtual environments.
• Lead lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and practical exercises for adult technical learners.
• Adapt instructional methods for students with varying technical backgrounds and learning styles.
• Maintain high classroom management, professionalism, safety, and active participation.
• Mentor students on certification pathways, skill development, and real-world applications.
• Evaluate student comprehension via quizzes and exams, providing timely feedback.
• Support exam administration processes and secure handling of materials.
