Job summary

Nefab is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the Thermoforming production operation in Irving, TX. You will drive daily manufacturing activities, lead a skilled team, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will coordinate with Purchasing and the Site Manager for materials, monitor key metrics, promote lean practices, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production performance. A BS in engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent required; preferred BS in Plastics Engineering, Production Management, or related engineering field.
• Experience in thermoforming operations and processing.
• Direct personnel management experience and ability to build effective teams.
• Ability to work across all levels of the organization; strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Experience with Quality Management systems and production reporting.
• Ability to analyze operations, propose improvements, and present concepts to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day manufacturing activities within a thermoforming facility.
• Manage personnel, including selection, training, evaluation, and discipline.
• Foster a quality, on-time delivery, and lean manufacturing culture.
• Oversee production scheduling to meet customer demand and delivery commitments.
• Monitor production and quality metrics; analyze data to drive improvements.
• Coordinate materials planning with Purchasing and Site Manager; manage packaging and waste.
• Promote quality management processes and maintain a safe working environment.
