Job summary

Amcor Limited in Fremont, OH is hiring a Thermoforming Operator to operate thermoforming equipment, support a small production team, and ensure safe, efficient, high-quality output. The role requires standing long shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs, with day or night rotations on a 12-hour schedule.

You will lead Assistants and Packers, perform quality checks, and participate in machine changeovers while upholding safety and GMP standards. Training and certification are provided as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and support a production team.
• Able to stand for a 12.25-hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in hot and cold manufacturing environments.
• Must complete Amcor Thermoforming Operator training and skills certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate thermoforming machines and monitor production performance
• Lead and coordinate Assistants and Packers to meet daily production goals
• Complete product quality checks and inspections
• Support machine changeovers and minimize downtime
• Maintain production records, machine boards, audits, and check sheets
• Train and coach team members as needed
• Follow all safety, quality, GMP, and food-safety requirements
• Support continuous improvement and Kaizen activities
