Job summary

Amcor is hiring a Thermoforming Operator to run thermoforming machines, lead a small production team, and uphold safety, quality and efficiency standards. You will drive daily production goals, monitor downtime, perform QA checks, and coach staff to ensure top performance.

You will be part of a shift team on a 12-hour night schedule, supporting plant operations and adhering to Amcor’s safety culture. Join a global leader committed to responsible packaging and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience operating thermoforming equipment to produce safe, quality finished goods.
• Ability to lead a small production team and coordinate daily goals.
• Commitment to safety, quality and efficient changeovers.

Responsibilities

• Operate thermoforming machines to produce finished goods safely and cost-effectively.
• Lead and coordinate assistants and packers to achieve daily production goals.
• Monitor downtime and optimize changeovers and best practices.
• Conduct QA testing and inspections to ensure specs are met.
• Maintain tool boards, machine boards, audits and check sheets.
• Provide scheduled breaks and lunches for the production team.
• Coach and train staff, support plant operations as needed.
• Follow safety, quality and food safety standards and keep area clean.
• Support Supervisor or Team Leader with tasks as assigned.
