Job summary

Opportunity Brokers LLC is seeking an experienced Production Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair thermoforming machines used to manufacture plastic food containers. This hands-on role emphasizes preventive maintenance to keep lines running efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience with thermoforming equipment, and familiarity with heating, vacuum, and forming systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as industrial maintenance mechanic or equivalent in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, or repairing thermoforming machinery.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Working knowledge of pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, motors, drives, bearings, gearboxes, and industrial machinery.
• Familiarity with heating systems, temperature controls, vacuum systems, and cutting or forming equipment.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, technical drawings, and mechanical schematics.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and equipment reliability.
• Understanding of industrial safety practices, including LOTO.

Responsibilities

• Thermoforming Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair thermoforming machines.
• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Perform scheduled PMs on production machinery and related systems.
• Mechanical and Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues using manuals and schematics; escalate when needed.
• Production Support and Equipment Reliability: Collaborate with operators to minimize downtime and support changeovers.
• Food Packaging Quality and Safety: Follow all safety procedures, maintain cleanliness, prevent contamination.
