Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is hiring a Machine Operator for 2nd shift in Huntley, IL. You will set up thermoforming machines, load materials, and run production per job specs with supervision.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, troubleshooting, quality checks, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. 6 months operator experience preferred; HS diploma or GED encouraged. Benefits available.

Qualifications

• 6 months of machine operator experience
• Ability to read, write, and perform math
• Understanding of manufacturing and quality control
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Sets up thermoforming machines for operation per job specifications.
• Mounts dies and molds and loads rolls of raw materials into the machine. Engages machine to produce thermoformed parts and maintains continuous operation.
• Performs troubleshooting and quality control checks.
• Performs routine maintenance on thermoforming machines.
• Completes required job tickets.
• Works with Packer/Inspectors to resolve any quality issues as needed.
• Directs Packers/Inspectors to work in other areas when machine is down for troubleshooting or set up.
• Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Performs other work duties or functions as assigned.
