Amcor in Lawrence, KS seeks a dedicated Equipment Cleaner/Maintainer to keep thermoforming lines clean and safe. Daily inspections, oil/debris removal, and project support ensure production areas meet safety and quality standards.

You will report issues, maintain tools, and follow HAACP/SQF/GMP guidelines. Responsibilities include inspections, deep cleaning during downtimes, and active participation in safety trainings (LOTO, forklift, fall protection, aerial lift).

Formación

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic aptitude.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of assigned work.
• Dependable, motivated, and supported by a solid work history.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and man lift.
• Good reading comprehension and basic math skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily visual inspections of thermoforming machines for leaks, spills, or contamination.
• Clean oil, grease, and debris from around and beneath machines.
• Maintain cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Keep drum storage areas neat and compliant with safety expectations.
• Report leaks or excessive lubrication to Shift Leads or leadership.
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all personnel.
• Take control of a machine when a risk of personal injury arises.
• Complete tasks assigned by Shift Lead or Leadership.
• Communicate daily activities and findings with Shift Leads and team.
• Deep clean clamps and doors during machine downtime.
• Participate in training (LOTO, forklift, fall protection, aerial lift).
• Wear PPE at all times as required.
• Enforce HAACP, SQF, GMP, and safety guidelines.
