Job summary

Qualifications

  • PhD in Chemical Engineering, Physical Chemistry, Computational Electrochemistry, or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience developing thermodynamic models.
  • Experience applying models to predict phase equilibria and physical properties.
  • Knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or similar computational languages.

Responsibilities

  • Develop fit-for-purpose thermodynamic models and integrate them into process simulators.
  • Collaborate with cross-discipline teams including experimentalists and process engineers.
  • Guide experimental design and interpret results to refine models.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on thermodynamic modeling, phase equilibria, and property predictions.
  • Apply fundamentals-based modeling to multi-component gas-hydrocarbon, oxygenated, and electrolytic systems.
