Job summary
OLI Systems in Parsippany, NJ seeks a Thermodynamic Model Developer to advance high-fidelity thermodynamic and transport models for industrial chemical simulations. You will work within our Research and Database team to push the boundaries of electrolyte chemistry, interfacial phenomena, and corrosion predictions.

Qualifications
- Doctoral-level training in chemical engineering or related field.
- Proven research in thermodynamics and properties of electrolyte or electrochemical systems.
- Experience in solving phase and chemical equilibrium problems with EOS models.
- Strong fundamentals-based modeling and reactor/separation design knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Advance thermodynamic, transport, and interfacial models for high fidelity simulations.
- Provide technical leadership for project Portfolio development and strategy.
- Customize and parameterize models for industrial systems (oil&gas, metals, water treatment).
- Collaborate with clients to meet simulation needs and interpret results.
- Work cross-functionally with researchers, process engineers, and software developers.
- Engage with universities and national labs on joint studies for sustainability.
