Job summary

ManpowerGroup, on behalf of its client, is seeking a Thermal Test Engineer to join a lab-based engineering team in San Jose, CA. This onsite role focuses on running a thermal characterization program on a part-time schedule (roughly 20 hours per week) to support ongoing validation efforts with real lab instrumentation.

• BSc in engineering or related field required.
• 1–3 years of hands-on thermal testing experience.
• Familiar with TIMA, thermocouples, DAQ, and power supplies.
• Experience with safe lab practices and repeatability.

Responsibilities

• Run thermal characterization activities on a part-time onsite schedule.
• Set up and operate thermal test setups, including TIMA and related workflows.
• Handle samples and fixtures to ensure data quality and repeatability.
• Use thermocouples, DAQ, power supplies, and basic circuits to execute tests.
• Assist with TIMs, heatsinks, and liquid cooling components where applicable.
