Teradyne’s Memory Test Division in Agoura Hills, CA is seeking a Thermal Engineer to lead thermal design initiatives for advanced semiconductor test platforms. You will develop thermal architectures, perform simulations and temperature characterization, collaborate across engineering teams, and drive validation and testing to ensure performance and reliability.

Local candidates only; travel 10-20% to San Jose and other Teradyne sites.

Qualificações

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years in thermal/mechanical engineering.
• Strong heat transfer, fluids, and electronics cooling knowledge.
• Experience in thermal simulations and lab correlation.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead thermal design of semiconductor test equipment and assemblies.
• Develop thermal architectures to meet performance and reliability goals.
• Perform advanced simulations, airflow analysis, and temperature testing.
• Evaluate and implement cooling technologies for high-power systems.
• Define validation requirements and lead thermal qualification testing.
• Collaborate with ME/EE/manufacturing to optimize product performance.
• Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Mentor junior engineers and interface with suppliers.
