Job summary

ManpowerGroup's Experis is seeking a Thermal Test Engineer in San Jose, CA. You will join the Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams across electrical, mechanical, RF, and software engineering to advance thermal performance.

You will set up and run thermal tests, analyze results, write reports, and contribute to continuous process improvements in a dynamic IoT environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with system-level setup and configuration of traffic generation for thermal testing.
• Ability to interface effectively with diverse engineering teams.
• Proficiency in analyzing thermal data and diagnosing thermal issues.
• Strong written communication skills for detailed reporting.
• BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure traffic generation systems prior to thermal testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, RF, and software engineers.
• Analyze thermal test data to identify root causes of thermal issues.
• Write comprehensive thermal test reports and recommend improvements.
• Support the team in continuous process and product improvements related to thermal performance.
