Job summary

Teradyne, North Reading, MA, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Thermal to lead the Titan HP system-level test platform, integrating precision subsystems and driving thermal architecture through advanced cooling strategies.

You will plan tests, set up instrumentation, analyze data, and translate simulations into experimental proof, accelerating prototyping and manufacturing with quick-turn methods and coordinated supply chains.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred) and 2+ years in machine design or mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks with PDM/MRP; strong ANSI Y14.5 & GD&T; experience in FEA, tolerance stack-up, and analytical validation.
• Hands-on thermal/fluids competency with ANSYS Fluent/Icepak and server air-cooling strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own platform design & integration for Titan HP system-level test platform.
• Drive thermal architecture: model and optimize cooling using ANSYS Fluent/Icepak and related tools.
• Run lab programs end-to-end: plan tests, set up instrumentation, analyze data, and translate results into experimental proof.
• Accelerate prototyping & manufacturing: leverage quick-turn methods and coordinate supply chain for novel processes.
