Job summary

Bodycote in Hebron, Kentucky, seeks a Utility Operator to perform essential tasks in thermal spray processes under supervision. You will cross-train in post-processing operations, grit blasting, masking and coating support for aerospace and power generation parts.

The role requires manual dexterity, adherence to safety standards, and strong attention to detail to ensure customer specifications are met and data is accurately recorded.

Qualifications

• ITAR compliance: US citizens or permanent residents only.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using hand tools to perform manual processes preferred.
• Experience in production environment preferred.
• Demonstrated organization and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete steps of the thermal spray process including masking, grit blasting, deburring, and grinding.
• Review job folder to verify areas to be processed.
• Perform visual inspection of parts for defects.
• Follow work instructions and job folder; record and sign off relevant data.
• Report problems or damaged parts to Lead or Supervisor.
• Observe in-process inspection procedures to meet requirements.
• Assist supervisor in developing processes to improve operations.
• Adhere to Environment, Health and Safety policies; keep area neat and wear PPE.
