Job summary

A leading advanced materials supplier in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a skilled Parts Finisher/Polisher Technician. Responsibilities include finishing and polishing thermal spray coatings using various tools and methods. Candidates should have a high school diploma (some college preferred) and two years of experience in thermal spray, manufacturing, or surface finishing. Qualifications

• Two years of experience desired with thermal spray, manufacturing, welding, polishing/surface finishing, robotics.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Employee must be capable of lifting 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate finishing area/downdraft table to finish/polish parts.
• Keep detailed notes of current running jobs.
• Work independently and prioritize tasks based on production needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; follow daily housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Promote and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
