Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to provide on-site leadership for mechanical and process trades on large-scale thermal power projects. You will oversee installation, coordinate subcontractors, and drive safe, high-quality field execution under a project director.

The role requires deep technical knowledge of power plant systems, is multi-trade oriented, and emphasizes safety, QA/QC, and timely delivery in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field experience.
• 7+ years overseeing mechanical, piping, or process system construction on thermal power or heavy industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and safety/QA/QC practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution for mechanical and process trades on large power facilities.
• Oversee installation of major equipment and piping, with emphasis on quality and safety.
• Coordinate multi-trade activities and resolve field challenges with engineering.
• Ensure compliance with codes and project specs, conduct inspections and report progress.
