Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead on-site for mechanical and process trades in large-scale power generation projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, QA/QC, and compliance with ASME/API codes, and drive progress from field execution to turnover.

Strong background in heavy industrial construction and multi-trade management is required. Location options include Greenville, SC and nationwide offices; hybrid work policy applies, with on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent field experience.
• 7+ years overseeing mechanical, piping, or process system construction on power/industrial projects.
• Familiarity with ASME Section I/VIII, B31.1, API standards, and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field execution for mechanical and process trades including heavy rigging and boiler/HRSG erection.
• Oversee installation of major equipment such as gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSG modules, pumps, and fans.
• Coordinate with subcontractors performing ASME piping, fuel gas, cooling water, and fire protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, drawings, and applicable codes; verify weld quality and testing.
