Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead on-site mechanical and process trades for large-scale thermal power facilities. You will coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, and drive quality and schedule performance across all mechanical scopes.

The role requires deep plant knowledge, strong field execution experience, and the ability to work with engineering teams to resolve field challenges while maintaining rigorous standards.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of thermal power plant mechanical systems.
• Experience coordinating multi-trade field activities.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs and isometrics.
• Familiarity with safety, QA/QC, and industry codes.
• Experience managing mechanical subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field execution for mechanical and process trades, including heavy rigging and boiler/HRSG erection.
• Oversee installation of major equipment: gas turbines, steam turbines, pumps, heat exchangers.
• Coordinate subcontractors performing ASME code piping and related systems.
• Ensure compliance with ASME I/VIII, B31.1, API standards and client specs.
• Conduct field inspections for welds, pressure tests, alignment and turnover docs.
• Support RFIs, field design issues and constructability reviews.
