Job summary

Creare seeks a hands on Thermal-Fluids Technician to assemble, instrument, operate, and troubleshoot custom fluid systems, thermal management loops, and test rigs.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining complex fluid handling systems, installing sensors, and safely handling various fluids. Engineering Technology degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with proficiency in hand tools and instrumentation; knowledge of heat exchangers and refrigerant systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Engineering Technology degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with hand tools, pipe and tube fitting, and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with heat exchangers, high-temperature systems, and refrigerant systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, modify, and maintain complex fluid handling systems, heat exchangers, pumps, chillers, refrigerant systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic test loops.
• Install, calibrate, and wire pressure transducers, thermocouples/RTDs, flow meters, strain gauges, and level sensors.
• Safely charge, drain, sample, and dispose of various working fluids (e.g., coolants, oils, refrigerants, compressed gases, or cryogenic fluids).

Primary Responsibilities

• Build, modify, and maintain complex fluid handling systems, heat exchangers, pumps, chillers, refrigerant systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic test loops.
• Install, calibrate, and wire pressure transducers, thermocouples/RTDs, flow meters, strain gauges, and level sensors.
• Safely charge, drain, sample, and dispose of various working fluids (e.g., coolants, oils, refrigerants, compressed gases, or cryogenic fluids).

Professional Requirements

• Engineering Technology degree or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with hand tools, pipe and tube fitting, and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with heat exchangers, high-temperature systems, and refrigerant systems is a plus.
