Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a thermal project in New Albany, Ohio. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in electrical construction, design and project management with strong knowledge of power systems distribution and load studies.

The role requires leadership of electrical teams, coordination with vendors and subcontractors, and ensuring safety, QA/QC, and timely delivery of materials. Proficiency in BIM coordination and MS Office tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Organized and able to multitask while maintaining focus on tasks.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience leading a team of construction staff, subcontractors, engineers/designers.
• Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Technical background in electrical engineering or related field is an asset.
• Familiar with QA/QC documentation, turnover processes, and drawings/diagrams.
• Proficient in BIM coordination and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site safety and adherence to company policies and national safety standards.
• Ensure work is installed and documented to project quality standards.
• Coordinate and manage activities of electrical personnel and subcontractors.
• Prepare and review proposals, work plans, budgets, and staffing requirements.
• Coordinate submittals and verify compliance with design.
• Manage project budgets and controls requirements.
• Support weekly/monthly project reports and turnover documentation.
