Job summary

Invenergy LLC seeks a Manager of Thermal Development in the Emerging Technology Group to lead greenfield and brownfield projects including carbon capture across U.S. markets. The role can be based in Chicago or Denver and requires travel up to 25% to project sites.

You will develop budgets, manage capital cost estimates, and collaborate with engineering and regulatory teams to advance project development and market entry analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 8+ years of experience in a similar role and industry.
• Familiarity with utility-scale project development and thermal energy production and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop multiple projects supporting origination of PPA and Build Transfer opportunities.
• Evaluate thermal power generation technologies including carbon capture.
• Lead site evaluation, permitting, interconnection, and regulatory approvals.
• Manage economic model development and project capital cost estimates.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Regulatory, and Commercial Analytics teams.
