Job summary

Bodycote, based in Vermont, seeks a Production Support Technician to back thermal spray booth operations. You will prepare parts, mask, grit blast, and detail parts per job folders while maintaining quality data and supporting production schedules.

The role requires adherence to ITAR, strong documentation, and safety compliance in an industrial setting. Excellent communication with supervisors and team members is essential for efficient operation and continual improvement.

Qualifications

• ITAR compliance requires U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.
• Education – High School diploma.
• Experience with detailed manual operations preferred.
• Organized and accurate documentation skills.
• Good communication skills with co-workers and management.
• Self-motivated, able to make decisions based on given priorities.
• Experience in a production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for customer inventory and perform duties safely to prevent loss or damage.
• Prepare parts for processing by masking and grit blasting per job folder.
• Detail parts post processing according to job folder specifications.
• Perform quality measurement and verification duties.
• Record quality and processing data accurately and promptly.
• Support booth operations by maintaining tooling and staging supplies.
• Communicate with production supervisor and thermals team to align priorities with schedule.
• Assist supervisor to develop processes improving operations.
• Observe environmental, health and safety policies and keep area neat and clean.
