Job summary

Brooks University Inpatient Hospital in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Therapy Tech to directly interact with patients under the direction of therapists, assisting during treatment sessions and recovery. The role may include minimal office support and patient reporting duties, with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification.

• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients, guests, clients, and residents to the private treatment rooms, acute care, or gym areas.
• Assists patients on/off exercise tables or equipment, or in/out of whirlpools.
• Provides general supervision/assistance with transfers, gait, and exercise.
• Prepares whirlpool baths, and dressings, and assists with dressing changes.
