Therapy Technician – Great Neck

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Therapy Technician to join the team at its Great Neck clinic on Long Island.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care by preparing treatment areas, gathering equipment and materials, and performing procedures under direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Execute a high standard of clinical excellence while maintaining 5‑star customer service.
• Foster a community environment by collaborating with patients and team members to ensure they receive the care and support they need.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi‑task.
• Attention to detail and willingness to grow.
• Athletic experience is a plus.
• Manual dexterity, general strength and endurance; capable of routinely lifting 5–35 pounds from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, shoulder to overhead, carrying 5–10 pounds for 40–50 feet, pushing 5–150 pounds on casters, runners or pulleys, sustaining a grip of 40–50 pounds for 1–2 minutes.
• Proactive, collaborative, team‑oriented attitude; dedication to rehabilitating patients’ injuries and boosting their confidence and vitality.
