Job description

Therapy Technician – E 84th

Spear Physical and Occupational Therapy is seeking a qualified, passionate Therapy Technician to join the team at our E 84th St clinic.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care by preparing treatment areas, gathering equipment and materials, and performing procedures under the direct supervision of a Physical or Occupational Therapist.
• Execute a high standard of clinical excellence while maintaining 5-star customer service.
• Provide assistance and support to therapists and patients as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to grow.
• Athletic experience is a plus.
• Manual dexterity and general strength and endurance; able to lift loads of 5-35 pounds from floor to waist, waist to shoulder, shoulder to overhead; carry loads of 5-10 pounds for 40-50 feet; push loads of 5-150 pounds on casters, runners or pulleys; sustain a grip of 40-50 pounds for 1-2 minutes.
• Passion for physical and occupational therapy.
• Proactive, collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
