Job summary

Hecker Sports Medicine, LLC seeks an ambitious medical assistant to join a fast-paced clinic in Fort Collins, CO. You will greet patients, document progress, and assist with therapy devices in a dynamic sports medicine setting.

The role requires a health/fitness background, strong customer service and communication skills, and a teamwork mindset. Bachelor’s in Exercise Science preferred; in-person schedule is 4x10-hour shifts, Mon–Thu.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Background in health, fitness, and exercise science.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team and solve problems.
• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide an excellent first impression.
• Chart patient progress and treatment plans.
• Administer therapy treatments using modalities such as laser, shockwave, and other therapy devices.
• Assist with care and maintenance of therapy machines and treatment areas.
• Perform clerical tasks including supply stocking and data entry.
• Phlebotomy skills a plus — or interest in obtaining phlebotomy training preferred.

Job description

A fast-paced Sports Medicine Clinic in Fort Collins is looking for an ambitious, outgoing medical assistant. If you have a background in health and fitness and enjoy working directly with patients, this is a great opportunity to grow within a world-class sports medicine practice.

Position Type: Full Time | 34–40 hours/week

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:30am – 5:30pm

Pay: $19.00 – $26.00/hour
