Job summary

Therapy Partners Group in Fort Worth is seeking a full-time technician to assist licensed therapists and support office operations in a busy outpatient physical therapy clinic. Training is provided and the role is suitable for students pursuing physical therapy as a career.

Pay starts at $14.00 per hour and the position is in-person, with a Monday–Friday schedule. You will help with light housekeeping, patient care support, and front office assistance as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Current CPR certification recommended.
  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication with patients and physicians.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately document information for billing purposes.
  • Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Therapist with daily patient therapy treatment utilizing skills which have been certified or trained by the PT/OT and are not considered PT/OT skilled activities as defined by the state licensing agency.
  • Maintains linen supply in Facility.
  • Organizes equipment and supplies needed for treatments.
  • Straightens and maintains physical order in department.
  • Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with patients and physicians.
  • Monitors supply inventory and reports reorder needs to Supervisor.
  • Reports need for equipment repairs to Supervisor.
  • Works to ensure a safe and clean facility including physical plant and equipment maintenance and supply inventory upkeep.
  • Assumes any other responsibilities that may be assigned by the Director or Administrator of Physical Therapy.
  • Support Front Office Coordinator in managing things such as patient arrival and departure, answering phones, scheduling, and collecting copays

Job Summary The technician is present to assist the licensed personnel in patient care duties, the office manager in all office activities and to be the primary responsible party for all light housekeeping duties.
