Job summary

PruittHealth in Kentucky is seeking an experienced Therapy Director to lead Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy across facilities. This role drives clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, manage staffing, budgeting, and program development, with competitive compensation up to $120,000 and leadership development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
• Leadership or management experience in rehab, SNF, post-acute care, home health, or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the therapy department for PT, OT, and SLP.
• Ensure regulatory, reimbursement, and professional practice standards are met.
• Monitor clinical outcomes, productivity, patient satisfaction, and quality measures.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop therapy staff to achieve excellence.
• Collaborate with facility leadership, physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary partners.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and departmental performance initiatives.
• Support census growth, admissions, and strategic rehab programs.
