Job summary

A regional healthcare provider is seeking a Director of Physical Therapy to lead and manage therapy services for both inpatient and outpatient care. This role involves providing direct patient care, overseeing departmental operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge, leadership skills, and relevant certifications. Previous management experience is preferred, contributing to the development of the team and the improvement of service quality.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and/or Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within time frame required by facility policy.
• Previous experience as a practicing Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and/or Speech Language Pathologist required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy care to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the therapy services departments.
• Supervise staff performance and provide mentoring.
• Coordinate care planning and communication with team members.
