Job summary

Sprenger Health Care Systems in Ohio seeks an organized assistant to support therapy services and activities within our rehabilitation program. You will help transport residents, prepare them for treatment, and assist in scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability and strong communication with residents, families and nursing staff. A high school diploma is required and an associate degree is preferred, with buy-in to growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in health care, office administration or assisting.
• Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of general office machines.
• Excellent grammar, punctuation and customer service skills.
• Independent initiative, well organized, flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing therapy services, programs and activities.
• Transport residents to and from the physical therapy room/area.
• Prepare resident for treatment by dress/position and assist therapy as directed.
• Create, maintain and assist in filling schedule as requested by the Director of Rehabilitation.
• Assist and complete patient scheduling for therapy services in coordination with nursing.
