Cynet Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Technician (RRT) for a 13-week night shift position in Virginia. The role involves caring for patients across all ages, handling ventilation, airway management, and critical care procedures. Epic charting experience is required.

The assignment includes potential rotation and transport duties, with compliance and background checks prior to starting. A valid RRT license and multiple certifications are required to qualify.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience.
• RRT license required at submission time.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, RRT*.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Candidates may manage patients across neonates to geriatrics and perform procedures as needed.

Responsabilités

• Manage patients within the respiratory care scope, including neonates to geriatrics.
• Float within scope as needed.
• Assist with intubation and troubleshoot high-pressure alarms.
• Perform aerosol therapy, ventilation support and airway care.
• Transport patients to procedures and ensure patient safety during shifts.

Description:Locals accepted at the same base rate.Night shift available.Call requirements will be discussed in the interview.Previous charge experience is preferred.Patients may include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.Daily census may vary.Candidates will float within scope if needed.BSN is preferred.All candidates must have Epic charting experience.Candidates may be required to transport patients to procedures.Special procedures include managing patients on mechanical ventilation and high-flow nasal cannula.Knowledge of adult critical care is essential.Skills needed include aerosol setup, bag and mask ventilation, and tracheostomy care.Experience with various respiratory conditions, including COPD and pneumonia, is necessary.Candidates must have the ability to troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and assist with intubation.Return staff must be gone for one year before being eligible to return.Compliance and background check are required, with results needed prior to starting.
