Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week engagement in an acute care setting. The role involves delivering respiratory therapies per physician orders, supervising ventilatory support, and ensuring patient education and rehabilitation across units.

The ideal candidate will have NICU experience, ABG licensure, and current ACLS/BLS/PALS/NRP certifications. Candidates must be willing to travel up to 100 miles and cover varied day shifts, with every other weekend required.

Description:The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care by prescription of the physician.Responsibilities include the diagnostic evaluation, management, education, and rehabilitation of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.This practice includes the application of technology and the use of treatment protocols across all care sites.Responsibilities also involve the application and monitoring of medical gases and environmental control systems, mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and pharmacological agents related to respiratory care procedures.The role may include cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and hemodynamic cardiovascular support.Candidates must live at least 100 miles away and be available for varied days with every other weekend required.Experience in stabilizing neonates and providing ventilation until transport arrives is essential.RRT credentials are required for this position.
