Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for night shifts in Massachusetts. You will deliver a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to diverse patients, following physician orders and hospital policies.
Responsibilities include evaluating and adjusting treatments, collaborating with physicians and nursing staff, and participating in rapid response and Code Team activities. Strong communication and patient education are essential.

Description:Reporting to the Director, provides a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services for inpatients and outpatients of all ages.Performs respiratory care procedures in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.Evaluates, treats, and re-assesses patients of all ages, following physician orders.Functions independently and also assists physicians and nursing in determining and applying therapeutic modalities.Assists in the orientation and training of respiratory and nursing personnel.Participates in Code Team and Rapid Response Team.Provides patient and family education.Participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives.Participates in departmental education activities.Transports patients.Assists the Director with special projects, equipment, and stock inventory control.Maintains and supports patients' rights to care, privacy, and respect.Performs other duties as assigned.High school graduate or equivalent required.Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs is required.
