Description:Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.Establishes, revises, and evaluates a plan of care that is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for patient's condition.Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel.Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.Ability to work with minimal supervision is essential.Must be able to work in a stressful environment.Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Works in a fast-paced environment with neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and oncological conditions as well as general medical.Engages regularly with the interdisciplinary team.Provides real-time documentation and point-of-service care.Training will be provided by the team to prepare the clinician for clinical responsibilities.
