Job summary

Vertis Therapy is seeking a Program Director to lead and grow the therapy department at a memory care and assisted living community in Naples, Florida. This role oversees daily operations, staffing, and adherence to Vertis standards while launching a new program in mid-October.

The ideal candidate will provide resident-centered care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and supervise OT/OTA staff. Flexible scheduling and a leadership-forward position offer a unique opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in an applicable therapy discipline.
• Valid state license or license eligibility.
• Strong clinical and leadership skills with ability to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Must be able to lift and assist clients as needed; stand for extended periods.
• Computer proficiency to document in an EMR platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to the therapy team.
• Assist with daily department operations, scheduling, productivity and staffing.
• Coordinate with facility leadership, nursing and other disciplines for resident care.
• Ensure therapy services meet Vertis and regulatory standards.
• Evaluate residents' functional abilities and execute plans to improve independence.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation of services.
• Guide and supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Lead or participate in team development meetings.
• Regularly lead wellness programs and events for the community.
