Vertis Therapy is hiring a Program Director to lead and support our therapy program at a senior living community in Bloomington, Indiana. The role blends hands-on patient care with leadership and program development to grow the program in a collaborative setting.

The Director oversees daily operations, staff supervision, scheduling, clinical quality, and coordination with facility leadership to meet Vertis standards and regulatory requirements while advancing resident care and independence.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree from an accredited therapy program.
• Licensure: Valid state license or eligibility in applicable therapy discipline.
• Strong clinical and leadership skills to develop and implement effective treatment plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Provide leadership and support to the therapy team, including staff supervision and development.
• Department Operations: Assist with daily department operations, scheduling, productivity, and staffing needs.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate with facility leadership, nursing, and other disciplines to support resident care.
• Compliance: Ensure therapy services meet Vertis, facility, and regulatory standards.
• Patient Assessment and Treatment: Evaluate residents' functional abilities and execute plans of care to improve independence.
• Documentation: Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Supervision: Guide and supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Professional Development: Lead or participate in team development meetings.
• Wellness Programming: Lead community-wide wellness programs and events.
