Responsibilities

• Handle patient registration and scheduling for Physical/Occupational Therapy.
• Verify insurance and benefits prior to appointments; assist with prior authorizations.
• Obtain and scan documents, signatures, and demographic information into the EMR (Cerner).
• Collect co-pays and discuss estimated balances due at or before service.
• Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries, and support office operations as needed.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and maintain patient confidentiality.
