Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems in St. Louis, MO seeks a field-based Therapy Development & Provider Education Specialist to educate providers and grow referrals for Inspire therapy.

This role reports to the Regional Manager and partners with Territory Managers to support specific territories and business initiatives. You will develop and execute provider education programs, engage with PCPs and other specialists, and document patient interactions in CRM while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years pharmaceutical, healthcare or medical device sales experience.
• In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 4 years minimum sales experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or medical device industry; or 2 years’ experience working directly with Inspire Medical Systems therapy in a clinical setting.
• Ability to travel within territory/region (including overnights).
• A valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and/or reliable transportation are required for travel to hospitals, clinics, and customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Educate providers to drive therapy development awareness and growth of referrals through provider education and engagement.
• Develop customer confidence through education of PCPs, Internal Medicine, Cardiology and other providers who treat/manage patients with OSA.
• Execute approved referral channel education and awareness initiatives to support provider understanding of the OSA care pathway and Inspire therapy.
• Support monthly community education programs and awareness events.
• Partner with Territory Manager(s) on physician engagement and local peer-to-peer educational programs.
• Document customer engagements accurately in CRM.
• Build provider awareness and ongoing engagement through approved education.
