Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems, based in the United States, seeks a field-based role to drive awareness and education about the Inspire therapy for obstructive sleep apnea. You will educate providers, support referral channels, and engage healthcare professionals across territories to promote patient access and referral growth.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years in medical device or healthcare sales, with willingness to travel within the territory and region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years pharmaceutical, healthcare or medical device sales experience.
• In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 4 years minimum sales experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or medical device industry; or 2 years’ experience working directly with Inspire Medical Systems therapy in a clinical setting.
• Ability to travel within territory/region (including overnights) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Weekly planning and execution of a customer targeting sequence.
• Develop customer confidence through education of PCPs, Internal Medicine, Cardiology and other providers who treat/manage patients with OSA.
• Execute approved referral channel education and awareness initiatives to support provider understanding of the OSA care pathway and Inspire therapy.
• Support monthly community education programs and awareness events.
• Partner with Territory Manager(s) on physician engagement, including local peer-to-peer educational programs.
• Conduct market assessments to identify growth opportunities and referral gaps.
• Document customer engagements accurately in CRM.
• Build provider awareness and ongoing engagement through approved education.
• Creation of new physician profiles in CRM.
